Mobile phone manufacturers – emerging competition
Prior to 2010, Nokia was the market leader. However, since then competition emerged in the Asia Pacific region with brands such as Micromax, Nexian, and i-Mobile and chipped away at Nokia’s market share. Android powered smartphones also gained momentum across the region at the expense of Nokia. In India, their market share also dropped significantly
